Types of training Topics adapted to beverage industry:
Clustering
The training is intended for presentation of principles of creation and activities of this and other general clusters, objectives and global experience.
It is planned to invite a foreign lecturer Ifor Ffowcs-Williams, one of the best cluster establishment and development experts in the world. I.F. Williams has consulted UNO, the World Bank, the European Cluster Supervision Commission, other international and state organizations.
Technological development
• Laboratory and trial production equipment for beverage industry
• Functional food products and ingredients
• Contemporary methods of food analysis
• Contemporary methods of natural ingredient production
8 hours of theoretic sessions and 8 hours of practical sessions are planned. The training is prepared using information collected during the recent international conferences and specialized exhibitions. The training would be carried out by scientists of Kaunas University of Technology.
Marketing
Marketing specifics in the beverage industry
1. New technologies – their influence on social processes, new means of media, tendencies, what is hiding behind all this, how consumption will change, communication, values
2. Consumer behaviour, purchasing habits, motivators
3. Internationalization of small brands (from small markets, Central and Eastern Europe)

The training would be carried out by specialized/ selected lecturers, companies. The training is adapted to the needs of the cluster and its companies.
